The Indian Museum will hold its annual Artifact Identification Workshop on Saturday Morning, February 7th from 10:00 until noon. This workshop is appropriate for teens and adults. The cost is $8.00.
We will focus on Ohio artifacts and Lake County in particular. Items may be up to 8,000 years old. There will be tools such as hammer stones, celts, work stones, axes, and spear points from many time periods. Some slate pieces will be included. You will have a chance to identify some animal teeth.
If you have an artifact and don't know what it is, bring it and we will try to identify it at the end of the workshop.
Registration is required. Call the museum to register [440-951-3813]. Space is limited.
